Outdoor Kitchens

IN SARASOTA & MANATEE COUNTIES

Kirkplan Kitchen & Bath designs and builds custom outdoor kitchens in Sarasota, Bradenton and throughout Manatee County. Every outdoor kitchen we build is made for Florida sun, humidity and summer storms, with weather-ready countertops, cabinetry and appliances and a layout that fits the way you cook and entertain. As a licensed general contractor for 27 years, we handle design, permits, utilities, construction and installation with one team.

Whether you want a simple grill station for family dinners or a complete outdoor kitchen with counters, storage and bar seating, we design a space that makes sense for your yard, your lanai and your budget. In Florida, you can cook outside almost all year. You might as well do it in a space built just for you.

Custom Designed Outdoor Kitchens in Sarasota & Manatee Counties

Your Outdoor Kitchen Starts Here

Picture a Saturday afternoon. The grill is going, friends are gathered around the bar and everything you need is within reach. That is what a Kirkplan outdoor kitchen delivers: a custom design that looks great, works hard and is built with materials tough enough for Florida’s sun, humidity and afternoon storms.

Some homeowners are serious about grilling. Others love hosting or just want a comfortable place to spend time outside. Our outdoor kitchen designers in Sarasota help you plan the right layout for your space, your cooking style and your budget, from where the grill goes to how the space connects with your indoor kitchen and lanai.

We handle every part of the build: built-in grills, quartzite, granite and natural stone countertops, weather-resistant cabinetry, outdoor lighting, plumbing, gas and electrical. Florida materials matter outside even more than inside. Strong sun can fade some engineered surfaces, and salt air near the water is hard on lower-grade metals, so we help you choose materials that last outdoors. You focus on what you want, and we manage everything from permits to final installation.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. EOMASKc5b6f0c45cc714XScott Guthrie from Kirkplan came out to do our countertops. We had 2 new cabinets to cover and replacing countertops on 2 others. I really appreciated his opinion on what would work and look good in our home. He was so easy to work with and we placed our order before he left because he was able to give us pricing on the spot. We are definitely looking at Kirkplan when we do our kitchen next year. Highly recommend!EOMASKc5b6f0c45cc715X

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. EOMASKc5b6f0c45cc724XWe were extremely pleased with our choice of Kirkplan Kitchens to help us recover from the effects of Helene last year. Our project manager, Stan Page, was right there from start to finish, always responding quickly whenever we had questions or needed assistance. Stan did an excellent job of supervising our project. Stan communicated well and provided guidance to sub contractors and to us. Things were very organized and moved smoothly throughout the renovation. The quality of the work and materials used were the best which is what we were looking for. The results are even better than we imagined and we will not hesitate to use Kirkplan Kitchens and Stan again in the future.EOMASKc5b6f0c45cc725X

“Kirkplan designed and refitted our entire kitchen about 8-9 years ago, and the result was stunning. We couldn't have been happier and have since recommended them to several of our neighbors, all of whom have had great results as well.”

“Very pleased. From the estimate to the finishing. All the subs were excellent and very clean. I didn't have to do a thing when they left. Showed up on time and we're very pleasant to work with. I would and have recommended them”

“Working with Jim Sherman was the best! Even though I was in Indiana, Jim kept me posted, sent photos of the progress, and answered all my questions promptly. We are more than pleased with our bathroom remodel. Thank you, Jim!”

“We highly recommend Kirkplan Kitchens and Bath for your laundry room remodel. They were very responsive to our needs from initial contact (Mark), through planning/design, and the execution of our project.”

“Kirkplan Kitchen & Bath designed and installed outstanding custom cabinetry throughout my whole home. They listened to my vision, showed great craftsmanship and attention to detail from concept to completion, and really exceeded my expectations with the final kitchen and bath cabinetry.”

“I used Kirkplan for my new granite countertops and was thrilled with the whole process and final results. They helped select the perfect slab, did quality fabrication work, and installed the counters quickly and professionally. The granite looks absolutely beautiful and has completely transformed my kitchen space.”
