Kirkplan Kitchens & Bath – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Kirkplan Kitchens & Bath. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, including consultations, remodeling work, product sales, and website interaction. By choosing to work with us, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Scope of Work

All services provided by Kirkplan Kitchens & Bath are outlined in the final project agreement or proposal approved by the client. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Kitchen and bathroom remodeling
  • Custom cabinetry and countertop fabrication
  • Flooring, electrical, and plumbing work
  • Product sourcing and in-home installation

Any changes to the scope after the agreement has been signed may result in an updated timeline or cost estimate.

2. Consultations and Estimates

We offer free design consultations and project estimates for clients within our service area (Sarasota & Manatee counties). All pricing is based on the materials, labor, and design scope discussed during the consultation. Please note that project estimates may be subject to change due to factors outside of our control, such as material availability, manufacturer pricing updates, or site-specific conditions discovered during the remodeling process. Any changes will be communicated and approved before proceeding.

3. Payment Terms

A payment schedule will be outlined in your signed project agreement. This typically includes an upfront deposit, milestone payments during the project, and a final payment upon completion.

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Credit/debit card
  • Bank transfers
  • Checks
  • GreenSky® financing (subject to approval)

Late payments may incur additional fees or project delays.

4. Financing Options

We are proud to offer flexible financing through our partnership with GreenSky® to help make your remodeling project more accessible.

Financing is available with approved credit and provided by federally insured, federal and state-chartered financial institutions, without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, or familial status.

All financing terms are subject to GreenSky®’s credit approval process.
Kirkplan Kitchens & Bath does not determine credit eligibility or interest rates, and we do not guarantee financing approval. Please speak with your design consultant to learn more about financing options and to begin the application process.

5. Product Selection & Availability

Kirkplan sources quality materials from trusted suppliers. While we strive to provide timely access to all selected products, availability may vary. In rare cases where a product becomes unavailable, a comparable alternative will be recommended with client approval.

6. Warranties & Guarantees

Warranties vary based on the type of work and product manufacturers. Kirkplan Kitchens & Bath guarantees craftsmanship on installations for a period outlined in your service agreement.

Product-specific warranties (e.g., for countertops, appliances, or cabinet hardware) are governed by the manufacturer and passed through to the client where applicable.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

Because many of our products are custom-fabricated and made-to-order, cancellations after materials have been ordered or production has begun are not eligible for a refund and may be subject to additional restocking or administrative fees. Cancellations prior to this stage are not guaranteed a full refund; any consultation time, planning services, design work, or administrative efforts already completed will be deducted from the deposit. Kirkplan Kitchens & Bath reserves the right to determine the refundable amount based on the progress and scope of work performed.

8. Project Timelines

Project timelines are provided as estimates based on availability, scope, and permitting. While we strive to meet deadlines, unforeseen delays (weather, material shortages, permitting) may occur. Clients will be kept informed of any changes.

9. Liability

Kirkplan Kitchens & Bath is a licensed and insured general contractor. We are not responsible for pre-existing structural or mechanical issues discovered during the project but will inform the client if such issues affect the timeline or budget.

10. Use of Website and Media

By submitting your information through our website or engaging in a project with us, you consent to receive communication from our team by phone, email, or SMS. You also grant us permission to photograph and showcase your completed project for promotional use, unless you opt out in writing.
