Why quartzite makes sense for Florida homes

Surface hardness. Quartzite is among the hardest natural stones available. Scratching, chipping, and the kind of heavy daily wear a working kitchen produces are not concerns in the way they are with softer stones.

UV stability outdoors. This is where quartzite separates itself in the Florida market. Engineered quartz contains resin binders that break down under prolonged direct sunlight, which makes it a poor specification for outdoor kitchens, covered lanais, and exterior bars. Natural quartzite has no resin content and is completely UV-stable, making it the right material for luxury outdoor applications where the alternatives fall short.
