Our 5-Step Custom Wood Cabinet Process

Kirkplan Kitchen & Bath approaches every custom-made wood cabinets project as a unique effort tailored to each client’s vision and needs. Our 5-phase process allows us to craft stunning wood cabinets while ensuring quality, efficiency and homeowner satisfaction:

01. Design Consultation

In our initial meeting, we discuss your style preferences, storage needs, workflow patterns and aesthetic goals. This enables us to suggest the best custom wood cabinet for your needs.

02. Detailed Plans

With precise measurements of your space, our designers produce 3D renderings depicting cabinet configurations, wood, finishes, hardware and custom elements. These plans capture all facets of your vision.

03. Final Approval

We solidify project timelines covering building, shipment, installation and last refinements before collecting a deposit once you happily approve the renderings.

04. Crafting Your Cabinets

Our experienced woodworkers begin assembly using quality joinery and machining techniques for durability. Any custom aspects are added seamlessly during construction.

05. Professional Installation

We oversee the complete installation process, ensuring your new custom wood cabinets transform your home beautifully. Our team fully cleans the site, completes any final adjustments and reviews the finished results.

Happy Clients. Beautiful Spaces.

Their showroom makes it easy to pick out the finishes with the designers help. Once the work got started my project manager Stan Page was on top of every detail. He is very experienced with all the trades and knows how to get things done.

Just had my counter tops replaced and I am really impressed from Scott my salesman to Louis the installer everything was professionally handled. Thank you Scott for going extra mile to make sure everything was done correctly ( even sharing a personal phone number if I needed it) and Louis and team WOW making sure everything met my expectations and cleaned up both inside and outside…. Impressive. Thank you for job well done 👍

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Scott Guthrie from Kirkplan came out to do our countertops. We had 2 new cabinets to cover and replacing countertops on 2 others. I really appreciated his opinion on what would work and look good in our home. He was so easy to work with and we placed our order before he left because he was able to give us pricing on the spot. We are definitely looking at Kirkplan when we do our kitchen next year. Highly recommend!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After the hurricane hit last year, I was overwhelmed with all the damage to my kitchen and bathroom. A friend recommended Kirkplan kitchens, and I’m so glad they did. From the beginning, the team was friendly, helpful, and really knew what they were doing.

The remodeling was finished on time, and everything turned out great. The kitchen is now bright and open, and the bathroom feels brand new.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were extremely pleased with our choice of Kirkplan Kitchens to help us recover from the effects of Helene last year. Our project manager, Stan Page, was right there from start to finish, always responding quickly whenever we had questions or needed assistance. Stan did an excellent job of supervising our project. Stan communicated well and provided guidance to sub contractors and to us. Things were very organized and moved smoothly throughout the renovation. The quality of the work and materials used were the best which is what we were looking for. The results are even better than we imagined and we will not hesitate to use Kirkplan Kitchens and Stan again in the future.

“Kirkplan designed and refitted our entire kitchen about 8-9 years ago, and the result was stunning. We couldn't have been happier and have since recommended them to several of our neighbors, all of whom have had great results as well.”

“Very pleased. From the estimate to the finishing. All the subs were excellent and very clean. I didn't have to do a thing when they left. Showed up on time and we're very pleasant to work with. I would and have recommended them”

“Working with Jim Sherman was the best! Even though I was in Indiana, Jim kept me posted, sent photos of the progress, and answered all my questions promptly. We are more than pleased with our bathroom remodel. Thank you, Jim!”

“We highly recommend Kirkplan Kitchens and Bath for your laundry room remodel. They were very responsive to our needs from initial contact (Mark), through planning/design, and the execution of our project.”

“Kirkplan Kitchen & Bath designed and installed outstanding custom cabinetry throughout my whole home. They listened to my vision, showed great craftsmanship and attention to detail from concept to completion, and really exceeded my expectations with the final kitchen and bath cabinetry.”

“I used Kirkplan for my new granite countertops and was thrilled with the whole process and final results. They helped select the perfect slab, did quality fabrication work, and installed the counters quickly and professionally. The granite looks absolutely beautiful and has completely transformed my kitchen space.”
